I see Project Fear is still going strongOriginally posted by JohntheBike View Postor perhaps vote Labour and get a taste of Marxist policies and then the electorate will never vote Labour again, always supposing that the Marxist dictatorship allows another election.

You're wrong, as usual. The first referendum (1975) happened 2 years after we joined (1973). It was about staying in. I'm sure it was mentioned in Pravda...Originally posted by AtW View PostThe first was about joining...His heart is in the right place - shame we can't say the same about his brain...Comment

Ok thanks for highlighting. Yes so choice in the election is clear....Originally posted by Whorty View PostMostly correct. The bit that is wrong is point 5; polls show that Labour voters mostly support remain (something like 60:40) so in fact, Corbyn is at odds with his support base.
Everything else seems about right.
This is why, if you want to Remain you vote Lib Dem. If you want to Leave vote Brexit Party/Tory. If you want to destroy the Tories vote for them, give them a majority, let them have hard Brexit and they'll never get into power again once everyone feels what a hard brexit is like.

Tory = hard brexit - lets go for it and ignore project fear of the sky falling in
Lib Dem = Rewind back to pre-referendum, forget Brexit - crack on with daily life and Farage gets back on the soap box
Labour = 5 years of internally & externally debating brexit and meanwhile the economy collapses anyway like never seen before through socialist policies & we beg the EU to let us stayComment

please refer to history. Tony Bliar gained a lot of popularity by relinquishing one of the Marxist tenets, i.e. nationalisation.Originally posted by BR14 View Postnah, just JtB's usual bollocks.Comment
