Canada withdrew from talks a couple of weeks ago, when the Conservative leadership campaign was reduced down to two with both of the candidates bringing “No Deal” back to the fore.

The basic argument from Canada is, if No Deal goes through and the U.K. implements the low-tariff schedule that they are threatening to do, then why should Canada do a deal to allow the U.K. increased access to Canada in return for low tariffs for Canada into the U.K. when the U.K. is already offering that to the rest of the world for free?

It’s one of the reasons why Fox was so pissed off in the last couple of weeks, he’s spent 3 years trying to put deals together and it’s all been blown away by the hard Brexiters offering free access to the U.K. for all, without any reciprocal access to global markets for our exporters.

It’s the Brexit ideology - doesn’t matter who gets ****ed over as long as Brexit goes through. Fascism by another name.

The will of the majority is fascism? Or is that just people who disagree with you?

The will of the majority was certainly not a hard Brexit

You’re confusing a vote to leave the EU (17m-ish people that have very little to actually do with the implementation) with the push by a small yet vocal set of people that are implementing a (IMO) damaging set of circumstances on the country.

There are many ways in which Brexit can be implemented. The fascists (again, IMO) are the ones that are pushing through the version that does the most damage to the country by a power grab and manipulating the rest of the country.

Nothing on that list addresses my post.

                  Bless.
