What was the full statement that he gave?Originally posted by Zigenare View PostWhen Farage made his "rifle" statement, what was the question that he was asked?
Where in his statement, or in the question, does he talk about returning to politics?

Well, if he had meant "front benches", he'd have said "front benches"
If he'd meant "in politics" then maybe somewhere in his rally he'd have mentioned that.
Maybe it was all an allegory and he didn't mean "working at LBC" or "visiting the White House"?…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment

The contextual use of 'rifle' and 'khaki' make his intent very clear.Originally posted by WTFH View PostWell, if he had meant "front benches", he'd have said "front benches"

As long as I didn't conflate the leader of the Brexit Party with the former leader of UKIP, then at least I can sleep safe at night.…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment

Neither.
I'm saying the Brexit party is not classified as a far-right political party, by anyone other than you apparently...
Even McDonnell only calls them a stepping stone to the far-right, but does not actually outright call them far-right

You seem to be extrapolating the labelling of Farage, to a whole party.Originally posted by WTFHAre you saying that UK democracy should be ignored, and the far reicht must be given the victory at any cost, cause if we don't let them win, they will pick up rifles to fight on the front line?
I doubt ~30% of the active voting electorate, voted Brexit party because the party or themselves were 'far-right'.
Still, don't let up, try and tar people for voting in a certain way....I'm sure there will be no negative consequences, a la deplorables en USA...
