It's a month on month comparison. That's pretty unreliable as a comparison. 0.4% on a month to month comparison is not really something to shout out about.

I'm surprised the bretards have not dispelled this one yet, but I guess the right wing press have not told them what to think yet.
Nothing to see here, a lot of the economy slowed down in anticipation of Brexit last month which failed. When the government sort out what it wants and makes a decision (either way) it will bounce back. The torry Brexit leadership race will now go into full 51st state / low tax haven off Europe mode.Make Mercia Great Again!Comment
