Why? What do the Brexit Party bring to the table? If they get voted in as MEPs, it doesn't help with Brexiting, although it does help a load of freeloading metropolitan elites continue living in luxury. Anyway, haven't seen any policies or manifesto yet although that's to be expected when it's controlled by an autocrat...“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.” -

Oh, the people that made those rules includes us....

Brexit will definitely help manufacturing.Originally posted by DimPrawn View PostJaguar Land Rover: How EU rules left Slovakia free to entice car maker from UK with GBP110m state aid sweetener

‘Brexit will boost our economy and cut the cost of BMWs and even brie’ – The SunOver time, if we left the EU, it seems likely that we would mostly eliminate manufacturing, leaving mainly industries such as design, marketing and hi-tech. But this shouldn’t scare us.
Britain is good at putting on a suit and selling to other nations.
Around half of young adults now go to university, ending up in professions such as finance or law, while the making of things such as car parts or carpentry has hugely shrunk — but there will always be jobs for people
without sophisticated skills.

Quite well, UK aligning to US standards means they'll be able to export to England and make a killing.…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment

There are hardly any pork farmers in Holland, in The Netherlands however there are many and they are doing extremely well, with the Uk only being the 5th or 6th export market, brexit will hardly have an impact on themOriginally posted by Zigenare View PostHow're the pork farmers doing in Holland? the name Holland is often used when all of the Netherlands is meant.Originally posted by Eirikur View PostThere are hardly any pork farmers in Holland, in The Netherlands however there are many and they are doing extremely well, with the Uk only being the 5th or 6th export market, brexit will hardly have an impact on them
Look again at the export figures, it's still a fair chunk to lose.Comment

The fact that the Brits use the name of a country wrongly doesn't make it right. it is akin to Americans calling the entire UK, EnglandOriginally posted by Zigenare View Postthe name Holland is often used when all of the Netherlands is meant.

Hard brexit will probably reduce the export figures to the UK a bit, but Britain will still need bacon for their breakfasts (and they need their gammon) so it won't stop completely and in the end it's the consumer who will pay for the extra % import duties, so brexit is again a shot in your own footComment
