Have you ever been to Germany?

When Germany does badly it is the equivalent to a boom in the UK.

We are leaving, and not picking up the bill as the EU falls to bits.

That’s fantastic news. Are we growing off the same base, or are we just catching up after poor past performance?

Where’s the UK growth coming from? Given we’re a mostly services-based economy, and roughly half our trade is with the EU, what’s the basis behind the UK’s growth?

Just skimmed through the OBR report. That’s ten minutes of my life I won’t get back.

So we have retained the same broad-brush assumptions on productivity, trade and migration that underpinned our previous post-referendum forecasts (as set out in Chapter 3). These are consistent with a range of possible outcomes, albeit smooth rather than disorderly ones.
So their forecasts really are “despite Brexit”

Because they gave the UK an extension to A50(Germany and EU are basically the same thing) which is causing the whole Eurozone to go into recession.

                Serves them right.

                Rescind the extension now.
