And they only had a population of 56,000. And this was in the early 1980s when the EU was a much smaller entity. Yet it still took 3 years.

Like us, they had a referendum, and voted 53%/47% to leave.

I wonder how many years it will take us to leave...

Go back to school, or stop getting your "facts" from Irish media. In 1982, the EU didn't actually exist.

Sorry, my mistake. The article correctly stated that Greenland left the EEC.

It took Greenland 3 years to leave the EU
