    People overwhelmingly support May's deal

After touring the country, May said this morning that the overwhelming majority supported her deal.

    So that's conclusive then.

That's how most polls work, isn't it? She just didn't provide the margin of error.

Are we talking 1 sigma or 3 sigma?

Say what you like about Theresa May, but she's tulip hot at remembering heavily rehearsed stock responses she can dole out whenever faced with a slightly challenging question.

She's now achieved the same level of competence as an answering machine.
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

The debate between May and Corbyn is going to be amazing. He can't answer any questions without a pre-written answer sheet, and she simply regurgitates the same words in a different order to any question.

I think the word is more likely to be 'tedious'. Both retorting the same response over and over. If it's on the BBC the viewers will wish it was on ITV for relief of an ad break.

There will be nothing new either has to say that we haven't already heard.
Maybe tomorrow, I'll want to settle down. Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on.

Her tactic is to get the opinion polls showing enough backing for her deal that the MPs won't dare vote it down for fear of 'armageddon no deal' and subsequent general election where they would all lose their seats by daring to go against the public's wishes. May's deal wins by virtue of arse covering motivating the MPs.

Why else is she trying to persuade the people rather than the MPs directly?

Will it work though? The cabinet tried to go over/behind the EU negotiators by appealing directly to each countries head of state and ministers and that went well...

I though May wanted to debate on the BBC and Corbyn wanted to debate on ITV. Cracking debate that will be. At least the TV remote would get some life testing, and the nation would end up with RSI.
