Arron Banks would now vote to Remain because of Government's 'disgraceful' handling of Brexit
A millionaire credited with bankrolling Brexit said he would now vote for the UK to remain in the European Union because of the “disgraceful behaviour of the Government”.
Mr Banks suggested ministers in the “sewer” of British politics could not be trusted to deliver on the result of the 2016 referendum and said it would have been better to “not unleash these demons”.
It came as Mr Banks, the subject of a National Crime Agency probe into the source of £8million of campaign funding in the run up to the Brexit vote, insisted the cash had not come from Russia.
