Dyson chooses Singapore for new electric car plant
“We are ambitious for our future, so we are pressing ahead under our own steam. Let’s be bold and show a spirit of independence, enterprise and optimism. “Embracing change and taking a different approach has exciting *outcomes. There is scope for Dyson to do even more, if only the government recognised the opportunity and supported British companies to grow."
A Great Brexit patriot
“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.”
Dyson 'ranks last in reliability'
he Dyson vacuum cleaner - famous for its bagless technology - is the least reliable of all upright and cylinder brands, a consumer magazine has said.
Bosch and Siemens are taking legal steps "in Great Britain" against Dyson over what it terms the "false allegations" made by the British manufacturer that the German companies had cheated in vacuum-cleaner energy efficiency tests in "behaviour ... akin to that seen in the Volkswagen scandal". BSH Hausgeräte, the German parent
'Dyson is the only brand with below- average reliability,' said Which? 'So think twice before buying one. It may design the most effective cleaners around, but how well it puts them together is open to question.'
so lets get on with getting out there and making our way in the world, something we always used to be good at and will be again
Unfortunately the facts stand in your way.
The world has changed, in modern knowledge and information economies countries that will do well will have a young, well-educated, healthy demographic.
The UK has a top-heavy aging demographic, about a third of the population are obese.
Those 2 facts alone strain the health system and productivity to breaking point.
In terms of education the top 10% are world class, the vast majority are poorly educated and the bottom 30% have very poor literacy and numeracy skills.
None of these issues are the EU's fault.
This is not a society that is about to take on the world, that happened 300 years ago.
It is a now a decadent society grown soft and fat on past success.
All empires have their period of glory, historically none reprise their glory days although many try.
However I believe we could try an experiment and have a hard Brexit - hit the economy with a huge shock and see what happens.
Which is why, like you, I'm for a hard Brexit

Brexiters will now bang on about Dunkirk and the Blitz spirit if you use language like that
“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.”
Less we forget the EU just signed up a free trade agreement with Singapore 10 days earlier. Dyson shall be able to sell his new cars to the EU without tariffs unlike UK based manufactures. Man of people for the people! One of us!
It has only taken 8 years to get to this point for a country of Singapore's size. I'm sure 95% complete May will have the deal all stitched up by next March.
