Well quite. Did you think the likes of JRM would support hard Brexit if there was no upside for themselves?
Still if you can't beat 'em, you might as well join them.
I don't suppose London will stop being a desirable world city, even if the North is decimated due to thge post-Brexit breakup of manufacturing, so it may be a chance to get that nice central riverside property I've always wanted
