    Food, glorious food

No, not chlorinated chicken, hormone-soaked beef, or “whiskey” that’s been aged chemically (thanks, USA!).

Not even stockpiling processed food as preparation for “no deal” (put that on the side of a bus).

Now India wants us to relax our non tariff barriers, imposed by EU regulations.

a range of non-tariff barriers to trade identified by Indian businesses, including limits on fungicides in basmati rice, the enforcement of food hygiene standards for milk and dairy products such as paneer and the use of hormone-disrupting chemicals across a range of non-food products.
Pesky enforcement of food hygiene standards!
