    The UK (and French, US and Russian) governments are responsible for most of the migrant flows.
    Starting with the Iraq war, through to Libya and now with Syria, western (and Russian) military intervention has had a terrible effect on the middle East and led directly to the rise of ISIS.

    Although I think Iraq is where the rot started - getting rid of Saddam was a big mistake. Strong men like him are not very nice but they hold things together.
    Same with Gaddafi and Assad.

    Where is most of the migrant trafficking from? Quite a lot from Libya apparently.
    Hard Brexit now!

      But that is possibly because you have not seen what happens to a small town when 10,000 migrant tip up.
      See my post above. Your leaders are directly responsible for the problem.
      There were no migrant flows in the 80s when the West largely left the middle East alone.
      9/11 seems to have been the trigger for this stuff but then they left the main culprit Saudi alone.

        As you might be aware, Germany has quite a lot of migrants however the interesting thing is, is that those that are most opposed to them live in towns and cities which have lowest amount of migrants. Where AfD and Pegida have the largest amount of followers tend to be in the east of Germany in the larger conurbations yet these places really have very little migrant populations. In many of the smaller places which don't have such a large contingent of people that have more bone than brain in their heads, the migrants have integrated reasonably well. Its also interesting to know that the parties who are anti-immigrant, and that is across all of Europe, are known to be funded by Russia, I wonder why that is?

        <Tinfoil hat>
        It looks like Russia is deliberately trying to destabilse western Europe by pouring funds into right wing parties, using social media to influence the (dumb) population and attempting to break up the EU. That way they can slowly gain back the countries which were once under their wing, a new EU yet controlled by them. Possibly they may even want war again...once the EU breaks up, then what is there to stop one country having a disagreement with their neighbour and starting a jolly little fight which brings the rest of Europe into it...Just what your right wingers are looking for...
        </Tinfoil hat>
        Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

          Could you give us an example?

          The town I live in has a population of around 150,000 of which 25% come from another country, in fact from 152 different countries and the proportion of people migrating here is significantly higher at about 25%.. So basically 37,000 people here are migrants

            But did they all arrive in 3 months with fook all except the clothes on their back?

            Often it is not the volume but the volume in a short space of time.

            In addition many migrants over the years have moved to another country with a plan to work, start their own business etc - some of these guys - because they are fleeing war do not have the same mindset (for obvious reasons.)

              I live in London, bound to be more than 10k migrants there. I wasn’t born in the U.K., neither was my wife, neither were at least a dozen of my friends, neither was my client manager, or his manager, or the CEO at clientco.

              What “problem” are we a part of?

                You avoided the question.

                Can you give an example of this town? What is it’s name?

                  Ok then - good point.

                  We should let in as many migrants as Auntie Merkle tells us too lest she pull down our pants and spank our bums.

                      His problems stem from a masochistic sex fantasy he has about Angela.
                      I think the root of most Brexiters issues is they generally aren't getting enough.
                      Take Dim for example - it's almost as if he thinks on Brexit day next year he's going to wake up a brainy male model rather than the thick balding coot he is.
