    Of course the baying pack of remoaners don't do detail very well.
    Whenever an agency is moving out of the U.K. and states Brexit as a cause, the Brexiters always come out and say it’s because of something else. And perhaps it is, perhaps it isn’t. But consider this:

    - if Brexit was going to be great, or even good, where are the agencies saying that they are going to move TO the U.K. because of Brexit? Surely there must be at least one?

    - for regulatory agencies that the U.K. will no longer be a part of but need our own version, where are the plans and what is the cost in setting up our own? We have less than 12 months to go but there does not appear to be any flurry of activity in setting up our own agencies?

      Next you'll be forgetting about the document you posted the other day and what it said about the various European organisations that would leave the UK, even though you whinged about them a few months ago.
      Not going to worry me greatly and here's why:

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Euroclear
      3,817 employees as of 2016 (Probably the global count, not just the UK org)

      https://www.ons.gov.uk/employmentand...k/unemployment
      Unemployment rate 4.3% = ~1.4 million
      Employed = ~ 32.2 million

      So, 3817 =

      0.26% of all unemployed people
      or 0.011% of the entire working age population

      So calm down you panic merchant, job losses happen all year round for multiple reasons not due to Brexit.....

      and remember what I said;

        How many other jobs do these jobs support? How many other similar moves are likely and what will the cumulative effect be?

          60% of income tax is now paid by top 10% taxpayers.

          £70k wage puts one into top 5%, I think top 10% is £50k or so

            I've already included what is most likely an inflated employee figure (3817 is likely the global count), that gives you an inconsequential % result.

            If you truly feel the need to know the answers to your questions despite the figure derived previously, I suggest you put in some legwork yourself!

            crack-on, petal.

                  No. I'm just entertaining myself watching the Brexiteer stewed mince thicken.

                    Especially to me, because for every £1 lost in tax I am the target to make up for you. And you, if you happen to be in top 10%, which you are unless you earn below £50k.
