Interesting to watch the reaction of someone who has never been told no before being told no isn't it?

No goalposts being moved, the agreement was never intended to be binding until it was written into the Withdrawal Treaty.

However, with Davis taking all of 24 hours to destroy any trust he had left by crowing about it not being binding, it’s no wonder that the EU want something drawn up and legally binding sooner rather than later.

It would be good to flush out the reality behind the fudge. There is no viable solution that will keep both the Tory Brexit hardliners and the Irish government happy. We all need to see which way the UK wants to break.

Absolutely.

One of the key complaints from Brexiters about the EU is the creeping federalism. However, it is remarkably striking how quickly the Ultras have gone from “how bad would it be to be Norway or Switzerland” to “hard or no deal Brexit is the only true Brexit”.

How hard can that job be? The country had no elected government for 589 days (2010-2011). I can't imagine the PM has much to do
