Barnier - the UK abandoned Europe at a time of its greatest need...

Brexit: EU's top negotiator says Britain failed to stand with European allies when it voted to leave | The Independent

“It was a decision that came six months after the French Minister of Defence issued a call for solidarity to all his European counterparts to join forces to fight the terrorism of Daesh.

“Never had the need to be together, to protect ourselves together, to act together been so strong, so manifest.

“Yet rather than stay shoulder to shoulder with the Union, the British chose to be on their own again.”

Well they have one last chance to totally screw us over (which they're making the most of) and then it's "auf wiedersehen, gits"...

With British tea, jam and biscuits at the heart of Britain's Brexit trade plans, the golden prosperity of Empire 2.0 beckons.

PS - I wouldn't recommend using jam though, it stains the sheets

You sent that one to the old man. He's just cleaning up the cellar after Brillo.

Like when Germany and Italy stood side by side in 1939?
Or when France stood side by side with Argentina and supplied them planes in 1982?

What a bunch of short memories this lot have got.
