In a way a revote would be fair as the public have been misled about the benefits and misled about the governments ability to follow the people's wishes and deliver those benefits. Namely controlled immigration not just open doors for the wage slaves lowering the living standard of the masses, and a government that exercises its ability to put the UK first before the EU rules that are seen as detrimental.
The public vote was more about wanting reformation of the EU back to a common market and not a road to a United States of Europe where member states have little perceived control.
Brexit has epitomised the self serving nature of politicians who put their own vested interests in front of those that voted them into office as an MP. They weren't truthful in the brexit campaign and they aren't truthful now over what they can realistically deliver.
A revote seems inevitable as it will allow the government off the hook when the full scale of the fiasco is realised and it will give what many in government wanted all along, no brexit that means brexit.
The best that can be hoped for is it somehow forces the EU to reform, but in the weak hands of the UK government I'm not sure that can be managed with brexit. It may take the uprising of far-right parties gaining traction across EU member states, and therefore more pain before a cure is sought to prevent the destruction of the EU altogether. That cure might just mean the federal Europe happens anyway.Maybe tomorrow, I'll want to settle down. Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on.Comment

She absorbed a stream of negative stories about the EU in the Daily Mail, but wasn’t sure they were reliableComment
