VAT Online - System problem or just me???

Just doing the 1/4ly VAT return and after putting that easy to remember username and password, I get the following error:

Sorry the system is unavailable, please try again later or contact the HM Revenue & Customs Online Services Helpdesk.

Quoting Ref No: TPFGTEMLGUH1STJX. Please select 'Next' to proceed.

Anyone having the same problem or think I'm likely to have a sane conversation if I ring up and quote that Ref number??
