Never heard of Orange & Gold.

Have been with InTouch for a couple of years now (I think!) and they've been good. Happy to recommend them (and get a month free )

      I'll split it with you.

Although Clare was promising iPads a while ago

Wasn't that when Simon from SJD promised me a pony?

To the OP - call a couple of accountants and see who you get on with. It's important you like the people you're working with and that you know you can call them with even the daftest question, so see what vibe you get when you call (assuming you talk to the accountant rather than a salesperson).

It's actually 2 months free at the moment

I agree - I have personally seen accountants responsible for contract reviews within their firms and it was clear did not have a good enough understanding. I am sure some are very good but in most cases you will get better advice (usually at a cheaper cost) from legal experts that specialise in the area. We refer our clients onto specialists for this reason, despite several members of our team having had the training to perform contract reviews.

+1 for InTouch. If you pick me for a referral, I'll PM you a link to my titcam.

InTouch don't (or didn't used to) charge catch up fees if you join part way through the year.

Edit: What they said re: IR35 - an accountant can advise, but you should get your contract reviewed by an expert - B&C or QDOS are usually recommended on here.

If you get the referral, I expect that the scheme acts like a pyramid and so the person that referred you should get an iPad as well

Did you get the pony I sent you in the end? What did you call him?
P.S. What Spreadsheet? Revolutionising the contracting market again.

Was it a real pony, or did you just send a lasagne microwave meal from Iceland?
