      2. PCG - just says "thank for paying by credit card" but doesn't tell me which one - ever more odd that none of my card statements has any debit on it for the corresponding amount.
      3. QDOS - I had to ask for proof of deposit payment as they didn't give me any.

At least with face to face transactions you are given a proper receipt / invoice!
      Renewal email from PCG:

...."To ensure that your renewal is successful please verify your nominated card details at WorldPay."...

      Could this be why?

And there is a reason for that. Banks really don't want credit card details on corporate servers....
the third party payment processor didn't even send an email in one case and in the other didn't put the last 4 digits of the card number on.

so its all PCI's fault then ;-)
