    Forgot to add... to do this properly you need to draw a tenancy agreement up and do it all as you would a tenant. Secure bond, notice periods, the whole nine yards. This is going to cause you a problem when you get another tenant as there is notice period to serve and you can't have two tenants contracted to the same house yadda yadda.... If you decide to fudge the rules for yourself you are giving it to a plate to HMRC. You have to do this one super squeeky clean if at all.
