BTW have you also run it by your accountant? They may say something else as there were disgreements before on here whether a mixture of items on one invoice for one purpose would count. You don't want him/her to refuse to do your books.
I have just sent him an email tonight. So will hope to hear from him soon.

In my own experience, confidence comes from experience and questioning people more knowledgeable than myself on certain matters. I am not too proud to ask for people's opinion repeatedly and ensure things are done correctly rather than make a mistake which was avoidable. I would think platforms such as this are a good way to gauge opinions.

I recently had to replace my laptop and some techy bits and pieces after a burglary and purchased it all on one order from Dell.

They promptly split it into 2 order and sent me 2 invoices, I have subsequenetly asked them to amalgamate the 2 into 1 so that I am able to reclaim the VAT on the purchase, they will do this.

I had the same issue in 2007 when I first bought 2 laptops and they split the order in 2, the then merged the invoices back together.

This case is a bit different.

Amazon sellers are independent businesses who sell things i.e. books, computer accessories, clothes and so provide their own invoices. They use Amazon as like ebay it's easier to sell stuff through a larger marketplace.

Buying from Apple direct, but they split the order

Does anyone have any experience of buying from Apple direct? 1/2 the bits are on a 3-4 week back order. If I ask them to ship what is available, will that count as 1 order (same order number), or 2 invoices?

          Thanks.
