Hardly new news but another story regarding HMRC writing off billions disputed by large corporations…..

Revealed: 'Sweetheart' tax deals each worth over £1bn

And yet the little guy with thousands of time less tax under dispute gets the nuclear option?? How’s that fair and proportional?

BTW, check these out. Came out today...

Repeal 'devastating' tax rule Section 58, MPs tell Osborne :: Contractor UK
Excellent effort as always! I was however somewhat surprised not to see Rees-Mogg on the list of MP's that have signed the letter. I thought he was a banker.

I've got my lobbying tool-kit but I know I wont remember half the arguments when put under pressure by someone who argues for a living
It may be daunting but you will feel so much better after for having the guts to face them.
If you panic, or struggle to remember some of the key points dont worry, just focus on what you do know and make sure you tell him how it will impact you and your family.

This is a real problem that will impact real people......they need to remember this.

        Good luck !

If you are meeting your MP...

Asking them to read this letter to the Chancellor, signed by their colleagues, might be a good way to break the ice.

Especially if they are Tory and just regurgitating the Government line on the matter.

Still no.1 in the search results

A Google search for "retrospective tax" or "retro tax" ranks us as no.1

            Google search results

A bit of an advert not to do business in the UK for companies doing their due diligence methinks.

It may not be number one in another country - or even be on the first page. Google tailor their results according to a variety of user-based factors.
