UK contractor - working in Antwerp

Hi,

My first post here. If I miss any obvious things, do please go easy on me.

I am from UK and I started 6 months contract in Antwerp. Signed this contract for a Belgian customer through a Belgium based agency. Since I will be paid in EUR, agency are asking me to open EUR bank account.

I am considering opening a local bank account in Antwerp. My question is - should I open a business bank account or could get away with personal bank account?

You don't necessarily need a Belgian bank account - I'm with Cater Allen and they'll accept Euro currency deposits easily enough.

As for private vs business account - if the agency is paying your Ltd. Co., it's gonna have to be in that Co. name. Simples.
