    used my business debit card for personal purchase - what should i do in terms of recording it in my accounts?

    sounds like it could be a loan that needs paying, try your accountant

      you need to buy it from the company at or above the price that the company paid for it, otherwise whatever it is that you bought will remain company property.

      then, once you have bought it from the company, never do it again.
      cue high horse about using company money for personal expenditure.....etc. etc. etc.

      If that doesn't work, then there's always plan B
