I need a new accountant - online only

So basically I had to remind my accountant that VAT was due, as I only had 3 invoices, I calculated it all myself (not hard on a flat rate) and just sent to confirm and even that basic task he failed to do in time.

Needless to say, despite the hassle, I am looking to change to someone who is capable of very basic bookkeeping, charges a reasonably small amount and will remind me of due payments, not the other way around and finally be capable of asynchronous interactions via email.

Well, I'm very happy with mine, who is a semi-retired gentleman with a small staff in Cheshire, but who works fine online.
Problem is that if I put him up here, people will only think I'm doing it because he pays an introduction bung to anybody who recommends him, and you'll all think I'm just doing it for the money.
