I had few doubts about the reciepts for my Limited company . For how long I need to save my VAT and Expense Reciepts for my Ltd company. Is it three years or five/six years? Is it legal to use a archiving service and send the reciept to them ?

I'd normally say 6 years. You are allowed to keep electronic copies and would suggest copy both front and back of the receipt (if there is information on the back) just in case. Here's a guidance link from HMRC HM Revenue & Customs: Accounts and records for your VAT
