    Sage One ??!!??

    Hi All,

    I've switched over to sage one for my accounting and finances. All has gone well with the initial switch and I'm happy with the ease of use and functionality.

    One (MAJOR) problem.

    When I came to cut my invoices last month I noticed that at the top of the invoice templates (there are only 4 to choose from) it states 'Registered in England and Wales company number'

    Whats the issue with that? well as you can tell from my accent I'm Scottish...
    I have a company registered in Scotland: SC#########

    I have a statuatory duty to provide this information on all company correspondance I believe and I can't believe a company the size of SAGE left this glaring ommision in a flagship service.

    I've been on to support about this and I'm promised a fix in the next code release but no timescales for that. The only work around is to create a custom image with the company info on it and load that up in one of the two custom logo fields available.

    </rant>

    Sorry, just thought I would flag up this glaring ommision and ask if anyone else has encountered such glaringly stupid mistakes.

    You'll get used to it with Sage. Heaven only knows how they managed to get the stranglehold on UK accounting software. Don't expect the fix any time soon - If I were a betting man, I'd say about 18 months time if you're lucky.

      Logged on and checked and yes its there

      Another thing... they had picked up my rant above from this forum

      so If you are reading this, thanks, a bit creepy but thanks
