Okay, I've googled this and read some interesting posts on here regarding how contractors deal with the CSA.
Firstly can I clarify the following points:
1. I see my kids nearly every weekend, so yes we have a good realtionship (the kids, not the ex)
2. No I am not trying to shirk my responsibility of paying for my kids but I would rather spend the money on them myself and know they have enjoyed it than my ex spending it.
3. If I have money that benefits my kids as well as me (university, trust funds etc)
So my question is:
I have the potential to accept a lucrative contract. It will mean I am based in Europe for a few months. Can the CSA get it's grubby blood stained hands on my money or can I simply pay her at my current rate?
Any help would be appreciated.
Ta muchly.
