Secure Trust 120 day notice account not accepting new deposits

    Hey all

Just switched our ltd co retaineed profits to Secure Trust as the rate was so good. Unfortunately they now closed the accounts to new funds! So like Alan Sugar.. the search continues..!

We had 7-day notice Scottish widows deposit account before, that was great, but the rate was reduced to 1.5% (our balances are lower than 50k!)

Anyone have any good recommendations for biz deposit accounts up to 120 days notice? Or even biz bonds if they exist.

    Cheers, richy

We concluded that as A&L Deposit account offers 1% when balances are above 10k, therefore, it's not worth the hassle of maintaining another account which might only bring in another £100 per annum.

Thanks for the update. Same conclusion here the higher rates you can achieve will bring in such small amounts extra it hardly seems worth the hassle
