    Payslips...

I'm a director of my ltd co and pay myself about 1k a month - keep everything ticking over... Do I need to create payslips for myself or can I just log it on a spreadsheet?

Has anyone got a template I can use? Or know of a web resource.

    Thanks in advance..

As you might expect, not giving yourself a payslip is asking for trouble and makes life more difficult than it's worth for all those occasions when people need to see a recent payslip.

You can find some pretty useful templates here: Useful Templates

Do you not use an accountant ? These usually provide a payslip service.

'payslip service' - Ohh err missus that sounds a bit liberal !

Christ almighty, you can write it out by hand if you like! Look, here's a template for you free of charge:

              Date:
              Payslip Period:
              Employee Name:
              Tax Reference Number:
              NI Number:
              Gross Salary:
              PAYE Tax Deducted:
              NI Deducted:
              Net salary:

And that's probably over the top.

Been at it a while and never needed payslip.

Never been asked for one and, if was, then paye spreadsheet shows calcs and, if absolutely necessary, could be used to run something off.
