Got offer from proper bank. But the position itself is through Indian outsourcing company (it seems the talents in Mumbay all are gone so they are hiring in the UK now).
They asked me to sign some weird document. Some blabbery about PII - personal identifiable information.
I understand this is precaution measure for those call centres workers in India who were stealing identity of british customers and selling them $4 per record.
However I fail to see what is here to do with software development services I am going to provide.
The major worry though - it rather seems bidning and I think IR might be very happy to put it against me in IR35 case if they see it.
Like one of the paragraphs says: "The disciplinary proceedings will be conducted by xxxx following the investigation and recommendations by PII Approving Committee"
I dont want to lose this job because I spent 2 weeks getting to it. But I dont want to sign some gibberish either..
