    Contracting in Italy

Could anyone suggest the best way to contract in Italy to maximise net retention?
It will be a long-term thing, and can't really justify 'ties' to the UK.
I've looked into offshore, but that seems really dodgy from what I've read? On the flip side, going full hog Italian umbrella solution, it would leave less than 50% in my pocket!!

Any advice or experience would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks

I think you need to find a company to employ you outside of Italy and detach you as an employee to Italy with a social security exemption certificate. I think that companies such as Tresag in Switzerland and Access Financial Services in Cyprus do it..........you are right that full Italian payroll is costly.......but it is the most legitimate!

      Hope this helps!
