    Renting a House

I've just sold my house and am going to rent a house till I decide to buy again - is there any value in putting the rental through the business?

Just to expand on badger's comment, you cannot claim as the rented house will be your primary residence. If it was a secondary residence undertaken for business reasons (closer to work site) then you could claim the expense.
