Cheapest way to get a company's accounts

As it says I am looking to pick up a copy of a company's accounts.

I hear this can be done for a couple of pounds in this digital age but I can't seem to find a service.

Anyone know of one?

Companies House will provide it, or - if they're a large enough organisation - they might have it on their websites?

hmm, they have not posted any yet.

THey changed name in 2009 according to companies house website but and I cannot find an entry for the old company name.

Oh well.

Acch, they are quite a big company

It's FOOTY MAD LIMITED number 07073912.

They seem to have been called...

FOOTY MAD FOOTBALL NETWORKS LIMITED

...until 2009 but changed name.

From what I can see the name was changed on 1 Dec 09, but the company (under the previous name) was only incorporated on 12 Nov 09...so you'll be waiting a long time before you see any accounts on Companies House (at least 10 months!).

What do you want them for? This company obviously doesn't have a long track record to go on, so from a credit checking point of view I'd be a little cautious.

They were only incorporated in November 2009 according to Companies House, so no accounts would have been prepared yet. The listing includes both the old company name and the new one, as they are effectively the same thing.

Oh well, the product they own has been about for, maybe, 10 years and I was wondering how much they were making on it.

Assuming that these are the operators of footymad.net the first bit of scariness is their registered office ... which is a retail park.

Digital Sports Group (Essex?) are the parent of footymad.net - www.press.co.uk.

Other than that, I'm afraid I can't help you out much ... sorry.
