I was talking to my (Labour) MP yesterday - he assures me he's not being bullied by Gordy. I mentioned the apparent 2 point deficit on the Tories and his reply was "We're ****** if we win - we haven't got a plan for that".

    Sounds about right.

which goes back to my other point, who the hell is voting for them?? this quote should make some people sit up and listen!

The (Sunday Times) opinion poll has given us the prospect of maintaining this Government for another few years," said Hans-Guenter Redeker, head currency strategist at BNP Paribas. "The markets have reacted and are giving a vote of no confidence in Gordon Brown.

You might also want to a search for the word unreliable in the context of that judgement and the other one AJ posted up some time ago. For the avoidance of doubt the judge was NOT suggesting AJ had purjured himself.

                    Closure notices

I have just received a bunch of closure notices.

Scary, but thank you to the many on this board who keep us all informed & let us know that we are not alone. It makes it easier to bear.

It cannot be right for HMRC or the government to do nothing for all those years and now suddely to demand a very large sum of money.
