Moving abroad - who to notify?

I am moving my family abroad (permanently) in the middle of the year but have outstanding tax affairs in the UK. Not that I want to run away from any of those issues, but who do I need to notify?

Have thought of sending letters for change of address to:
    - local tax office (who my SA returns have been sent to)
    - compliance office/investigating branch for previous years returns which are under appeal
    - tax accountants
    - office where I have CTDs lodged

The worst thing that could happen to me is if HRMC sent out some kind of important letter that has a time limit for response but of course I don't get it in time because of a) being sent to old address in the UK or b) mail re-direction to the other side of the world will take a few weeks.

You only have to advise your accountant that your are leaving the country. You also fill out a form that says you're officially leaving and that you don't come under the UK Tax laws anymore.

Put your LTD into dormancy (if you have one). I would not put in a forwarding address - it's not your responsibility to make sure HMRC can contact you after you leave the country.

You accountant should be able to tie up any items before / after you leave the UK.
