Hi folks,
I need your advise on the following:
- I am a French national and have lived 7 years in the UK. I have a UK home address, NI etc...
- Over the past 2 years I have been working as a permanent employee of a Bulgarian company following the promotion of my partner over here. She is French too.
- I have my Bulgarian Residency Card valid for another 3 years.
Given I have worked in the following countries: France/ UK/ Bulgaria, can I chose where I want my taxes to be paid? For example if I create a company or a legal entity in Bulgaria?
Now, in this country, the tax rate is 10%.
What sort of financial/ legal set-up can I build to make sure I shall pay my taxes in Bulgaria instead of in the UK when I start contracting in the Island as of 01.01.2011?
Your help is greatly appreciated.
Merci
Chris
