    That's also a fact, since in most tax jurisdictions the penalties for tax evasion are payment of the outstanding sum, plus interest, plus punative fines. Thats before they get into the whole sending you to prison thing.

    If you don't get caught, you're quids in. If you do your seriously out of pocket with a criminal record to boot thats going to put a serious dent in your earning power for the future.
