    Consort Consultancy Services

I saw some spam from this outfit on linkedin - anyone come across them?

They seem to claim you can be legit self-employed through them as an alternative to having an umbrella.

Yes I did try searching the forum for the company but I can't get boolean logic to work on the search, all I got was many pages with either of the words.

And everthing I have seen elsewhere suggests that IT contractors can't be self employed - ever, even PGC guide seems to say this too, so it seems odd that suddenly someone is offering a way round this that the umbrellas have not cottoned on to.

If its too good to be true then.....?

Most likely this will be setup as a partnership with you working as a self employeed person but throguh the partnership, which will invoice on your behalf....

However be warned this is how Sunday Solutions operated. You will see from the thread about this how thing can go bad.
