Would consider paying my 'tax owed' as a big bag of pound coins ... I imagine it would be very heavy ... "Here ya go Gordon, catch!"Originally posted by KiwiGuy View PostI would put my foot on his head just to make it more of a action shotComment

'Vexatious' or 'Irresponsible' FoI requests
Take a look at Martin Rosenbaum's Blog on the BBC website

At some point they may try and claim that my requests are 'Vexatious' or 'Irresponsible' but they are not stupid. They know that if they shut me down, there are plenty of other people ready to take up the reigns.Originally posted by Ninja View PostTake a look at Martin Rosenbaum's Blog on the BBC website

In any case, it can hardly be called vexatious or irresponsible when I'm on the receiving end of the legislation to the tune of £150k.
Incidentally, I have managed to get a list of the documents that the Treasury are withholding, which is a start.Comment

DR, the issue here is that they have not been providing you with the information that you have requested. That does not make your application vexatious or irresponsible. It makes their response, or lack of it, vexatious and irresponsible.
So is the list of withheld documents before or after shredding? This Govt is broken and corrupt and Timms is a weasel who probably got a shredder for his birthday.
There is no doubt in my mind that some of the documents withheld will, when the truth is finally out, have been withheld inappropriately. When they claim that release of a document is not in the public interest what they really mean is that doesn't suit them. The last time I looked I was a member of the public and its certainly in my interest to see every document that you are listed as having requested. We are a minority group. I thought this Govt sold itself on the support of minorities.
