I can't see any reason why it can't be used in the Judicial Review. The JCHR's report and letter to Timms even acknowledges that they are aware that a JR has been granted, and they clearly don't care if it prejudices HMRC's case.

This is what is going to make HMRC extremely angry. Their position is being undermined in public before they have even stepped into court, and there is absolutely nothing whatsoever they can do about it. This so unfair.

Perhaps they may try and claim that they can't get a fair trial now.

We know some of you follow our forum.

Do yourselves a favour guys, and give it up now.

It is only a matter of time before the Press pick up on this. Save yourself from further embarrassment.

You can claim a small victory. People's lives have been damaged, some irrepairably, and it has scared the majority of contractors away from these sorts of schemes.

There is nothing to be gained from continuing with this charade.

Get your masters to read the report below and the letter to Timms.

                  Great work DR.

These guys at the Human Rights Joint Committee seem to be really on top of understanding what the government are trying to do, and the position that has resulted in relation to this legislation.
Glad to see these guys are a lot more intelligent than most MP's out there that allowed this legislation to get through in the first place.

Brought a tear to my eye the responses people have submitted, and am thankful for this forum and the people who have made contributions above the call of duty - I salute you in our battle together.

PS: Is it worth highlighting this latest information to some of the MP's - Gauke etc???

Or do we sit back and wait and see what Timms comes back with??

                    You must be psychic.

A letter (from a constituent) went off to Gauke this lunch time. We have asked him to make his views known to the Committee.

The following bodies, that criticised the legislation when it was proposed, have also been notified:
                    Chartered Institute of Taxation
                    ICAEW
                    Law Society
