I got one of those last week, theyve already opened an inquiry into the year and calculated it on the CNs which have been appealled but got one asking for more info for an inquiry... as usual either wasting time or trying to upset people.... either way mine got answered by MP ;-)

Yup - I got a letter from Local Compliance Personal Tax Compliance opening an enquiry into my 2007 - 2008 return, stating that I have claimed relief under DTT, now illegal blah blah

any ideas how I should respond / what comes next etc etc

any ideas how I should respond / what comes next etc etc

No date yet. I don't know about anyone else but the waiting is driving me nuts.

I suspect there is only one party which isn't as keen for this to happen.

DR, I'll be there. Wouldn't miss this for the world. Ditto about the nuts. When all this is done and dusted I'll be at a loss of what to do with myself. I'll have to start talking to the family again or something...
