        Yup - I got a letter from Local Compliance Personal Tax Compliance opening an enquiry into my 2007 - 2008 return, stating that I have claimed relief under DTT, now illegal blah blah

        any ideas how I should respond / what comes next etc etc

              Do we have a date for the Judicial Review? Any updates on how our case uwill be defended (appart from the obvious) eg. Latest Retro debacle of MP's expenses..?

                No date yet. I don't know about anyone else but the waiting is driving me nuts.

                I suspect there is only one party which isn't as keen for this to happen.

                  I still see the JR as the end of the beginning. Plenty more trench warfare to come after that.

                    DR, I'll be there. Wouldn't miss this for the world. Ditto about the nuts. When all this is done and dusted I'll be at a loss of what to do with myself. I'll have to start talking to the family again or something...

                    At least I've become quite well read on how HMRC [dis]functions.
