Yeah thought it was ***, they did the exact same thing with my P35, in fact I got an overpayment back from HMRC...

I've moved accountants now, the difference in service has amazed me. I pay about the same but the attention I get now is really unexpected.

They even recently volunteered to look at my contracts to examine for I35, I never even asked the them.

Please do drop me a line - my email address is simonatsjdaccountancy.com

I've no idea about your individual circumstances, but you'd be surprised (or maybe you wouldn't!) at how many times the Revenue mess up. I'm sure any of the accountants on here will agree that we spend a significant portion of our day sorting out mistakes that the Revenue have made.

That's not to say we don't make mistakes on the odd occasion- of course we do - the last thing I will do is to try to wriggle out of our responsibilities, so drop me a line and I will look into it for you personally.
P.S. What Spreadsheet? Revolutionising the contracting market again.

So much for the new HMRC guidelines about nobody being penalised unless they have been dishonest or careless.

          Apology received

          Hi Guys,

I got a call from my accoutant's boss and he apologized and assured me that nothing of this sort will ever happen in future. So at the moment I am just waiting for HMRC to process the amended P35 (and hoping that atleast the amended p35 has correct figures).

Hey scooterscot , Do you mind telling who you switched to?
