agency took those copies and then got back to me because Alexander Mann wanted a copy of the back cover...yes the red piece of cardboard.

I simply said "No"...then compromised that I'd take my passport to work the first day....nobody came to copy the red rectangle and I've not heard any more about it.

Alternatively tell them you don't have a passport and see where that gets you!

I've said "which one" in the past which has usually caused enough shenanigans to stop the request.
