    TUPE - interesting concept

As part of the project I am running there is a need to resolve some TUPE aspects. As a result, I am reading up on the regulations.

    The following got my attention:-

"The Regulations apply when...............b) a "service provision change" takes place (for example, where a contractor takes on a contract to provide a service for a client from another contractor)."

I assume this would only aply to us if we had our contracts terminated prematurely........or?

TUPE is for full time employees only.

It doesnt apply to any one in the contract world.

TUPE proptects employees where by thier role has been given to another providor or where by the role itself has moved to another location.

It protects the individual for up to 6 months....thats the crooks of really
