I have 50k lying in company account earning 0.0001% interest
Does anyone know any business account paying decent interest rate ?
Are there any other investment options like bonds etc

Company interest rates have taken an absolute battering in the last year - used to be a nice little earner, now its hardly worth a big mac. But, for what its worth, Cater Allen and Alliance & Leicester are generally the best of the available options, but you're still only talking about fractions of a percent.

Which is kind of stupid as they need to give people reasons to "save" to build up their reserves

At leas their banking is free and customer service is pretty good.
