I am currently working for a Norwegian company as a salaried employee. I am looking at relocating to the UK and am trying to figure out how to do this without the Norwegian company having to set-up a legal entity in the UK. I was wondering whether 1. it would be possible for me to work as a salaried employee in the UK for this Norwegian company, and what sort of rules and regulations are associated with this—especially concerning social security and taxes, and 2. what things I would need to do as a foreigner to be allowed to work as a contractor in the UK, working solely for this one company; 3. how IR35 would affect me as a foreign national working for yet another foreign company.
I hope somebody can shed some light on those issues.
