Has VAT account name changed?

Hi there, I received a letter from HMCE saying I have not payed my VAT for the last period - this is incorrect as I payed using the internet on 9th Feb. Obviously there is some error somewhere. I noticed that my return from HMRC says to use the account name HMRC VAT whereas the online VAT guides say HMCE VAT is the account name - has the account name change? Very confused, any help much appreciated.

The anem change hsouldn;t cause the payment to bounce.

Has the money arrived back in your account?

Phone the VaTman, they can be quite friendly.
