Switching from Umbrella to Ltd Co part way through a contract

I've been contracting for just over 12 months now. Went with an umbrella company at first, but have decided that the contracting lifestyle suits me so I want to go Ltd. I'm in a contract until the begining of May. Is it easy (or even possible) to switch to a Ltd Co from an umbrella part way through a contract?

    Cheers

The contract may be tied between the agency and the umbrella so they may not want to re issue the contract mid term. I have tried this before and was told to wait until next renewal.

I did this part way through my first contract and it is possible. Speak to the agency though as it will be them who has to re issue paperwork.

I was with Parasol and switched to ltd with their sister company Purelyone / quay mid contract. Agent just issued new contract.
